About

The firm is headed by Mr Rizwan Mirza, who began his own practice under a corporate structure, named ‘Amir, Rizwan and Wasim (Pvt.) Ltd., Consulting Engineers and Architects, (ARW). Incorporated in 1990, the company turned into a professional success story, despite harsh market conditions. But in time, the changing market situation, the competing priorities of the various disciplines and divergent objectives of the shareholders, gradually started hampering further growth of the organisation. In 2005, after a carefully business study, the management concluded that further growth, dynamism and skill acquisition was not possible within the corporate structure.

Consequently, Rizwan Mirza, Consulting Engineers, was started as a new engineering firm, and the entire engineering experience, staff and record was shifted to this firm. Rizwan Mirza, Consulting is thus – in a narrow legal sense – a new name but duly claims more than two-and-half decades of rich engineering experience behind it, as the key management, staff and client profile remain unchanged. The new structure is much better geared to offer state-of-the-art and quality controlled services to the high-end clients in a more dynamic manner.

The firm is now active in a number of specialised fields, both within and outside the country.

The CEO is a licensed consulting engineer, with an active professional experience spread over around four decades. Frequently lecturing at various forums, he is a founder and an associate of Pakistan Society of Civil Engineers and a member of Institute of Civil Engineers, Pakistan.
